Visit the famous landmarks. One of the must-see landmarks is the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall, it is the famous national monument in Taiwan for its historical design. If you love temples and architectural design, then go here and take a picture of it. 

A-mei Tea House in Jiufen Old Town

"No-Face" sounds familiar??? If you have watched Spirited Away, then you'll get it. Jiufen is the inspiration place behind the famous animated movie Spirited Away by Hayao Miyazaki.

Shifen Old Street, where you can lit up lanterns and watch as it goes up in the sky. I didn't try this because *cough* it is not environmental friendly *cough*. :)

Not complete without tasting the must-eat food here in Taiwan. Tried almost everything milk tea or street foods in night markets. When you are in Taiwan, you can't be strolling outside without having MILK TEA in your hand. Brown sugar milk teas are the best whether you buy it in different shops. And DUMPLINGS, oh may I ask you again why you are travelling in Taiwan? IT IS BECAUSE OF XIAO LONG BAO!! Din Tai fung has the best xiao long bao BTW. :D
